Carmen Klapper

Director of Agent Development | Realtor

As the Director of Agent Development, Carmen oversees the hiring, onboarding, and training of agents in the Nashville office, as well as partners with the broker in upholding Scout's elite standards and legal compliance with the state of Tennessee. She provides professional guidance and support to the agents and works with them individually to set and meet their annual goals. Carmen is also a mentor to newly licensed agents who are just beginning their real estate journey.

As a licensed agent herself, Carmen especially enjoys serving and educating first time buyers through the process to home ownership. With her past experience in transaction coordination where she managed hundreds of contracts to the closing table, she brings a heightened level of proficiency, accuracy, and confidence to the residential clients she represents, whether buyers or sellers.

Carmen is also a wife, mother, and our in-house weather nerd, holding an active certification as an advanced storm spotter for the National Weather Service. Her husband, Alec, owns a video and lighting production company and they jointly homeschool their daughter, Addison, and son, Cade. In her spare time, you can find Carmen camping with her family or diving deep into a book on personal development while snuggling with their two rescue dogs, Elphie and Mac. She is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and has an intense love of Ole Miss Rebel football. Hotty Toddy!!!
